- Scan engine control module for fault codes. Determine the #2 fuel injector failed electrically. TSB from VW suggests to replace all fuel injectors at the same time. Replace all fuel injectors and all retainer kits.
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter with synthetic oil. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Reset oil maintenance reminder light. Road test vehicle.
